When partaking in an activity such as writing, which requires not only innate talent, but also a knowledge of English mechanics, there are many mistakes to which one may fall prey.  Hence the purpose of Caveat Scriptor (literally, "Let the Writer Beware" in Latin): to help polish the raw talent that each writer possesses, and provide a community of sympathetic individuals for support and constructive criticism.

Update: Thursday, August 23rd - Pierce Pavonine
Greetings and salutations, friends and fellow writers!  Welcome to Caveat Scriptor, the newest resource for readers and writers who find themselves in need of a helping hand.  Allow me to introduce myself: I am known as Pierce Pavonine, the webmaster and general factotum of Caveat Scriptor.  You may contact me at webmaster@caveatscriptor.com.

Although this website is at the moment under construction, it will, upon completion, be updated weekly, and contain knowledge on both the creative and technical aspects of writing, as well as other useful tidbits.  For now, you may subscribe to the The Inkslinger, through which I shall announce the official "grand opening" of Caveat Scriptor.  Eventually, the newsletter will include interesting vocabulary and information, as well as notifications of updates and revisions.
